Intermediate Project - Running Temperature Lamp
Description
I’m on the Cross Country & Track team’s here at Berry which means I run a lot. Part of
that involves waking up early some mornings to run. A problem I find myself running into
quite often is either over dressing or underdressing for the outside temperature. While
the immediate answer I think of is looking at the weather app, sometimes I don’t have
the foresight to do that. My lamp concept is that of an alarm clock/display that through a
temperature sensor either lights up red or blue when a temperature threshold is reached
or missed. The lamp would illuminate one or the other to tell myself or the user whether
it’s cold or warm outside so that they can plan an outfit accordingly, (ex. Shorts and a
tee for warmer weather, or jacket and pants for a colder day).
